3 Hours at Barnes and Noble and no book...

Hey all, new to the forums here. Spent 3+ hours at Barnes yesterday trying to find a new read and just couldn't seem to find anything worth buying. I am trying to find a monster/survive type book involving vampires/sasquatch/zombies/etc. I love books that have movies or video games accompanying them (just finished 30 Days of Night the novel and loved it). I'd like another book similar to this that keeps you on edge and scared. I looked at the other two "30 Days of Night" novels but they just didnt catch my attention, also looked through the Underworld movie novelization, Jurassic Park, Resident Evil, Anne Rice stuff, and a couple others. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you.
