I recently got prescribed paxil 10mg a day for 10 days then 20mg/day afterwards I have only been taking it for 2 days... Is it safe to take 2c-t-7/2c-e while on an SSRI?
I'm wondering the same thing. I'll let you know in a few weeks... if I can lol Last time I tripped on 2Cs was about 8 years ago.. I tripped regularly during a period of 3 years or so. Was on and off SSRI's during that time and I don't remember any ill effects.. but everyone's different. In the name of science!
^ lol nice bro, what SSRI are you on on a side note I took ~30mg 2c-t-7 about an hour and a half ago and I feel nothing, slight cognitive enhancement effects unless its a placebo.. I have heard that all psychedelics effects are/can be decreased while on an SSRI edit: a few hours later and kinda notice some "wall breathing" visuals, thats about it though, a bit of a body high
SSRIs blocks psychedelic effects, because they work on same brain arena that psychedelics do. Also, 2C-T-7 is not safe to mix with anything that works on MAOI break-down, for example MDMA, amphetamines, just to give you idea. 2C-E is safer for mixing, but I see you already took 2C-T-7 with no ill effects.
yeah it could be very dangerous on t7, and when i snorted alot of 2c-c on celexa it was very weak and had none of the interesting aspects that it always has.
word lol well I guess I wont be using the rest of my 2c-e or 2c-t-7 for a while, dont plan on dropping the SSRI anytime soon
I'll hold that 2c-e for you lol It's really just a gamble.. factors including the specific medicine, the psychedelic, and your own brain chemistry. Like I said, I was on and off Risperdal and Effexor throughout the time I was tripping. I guess you could say it diminished the effects a bit (I have no real evidence of this other than the fact that my bf at the time always tripped harder). I never had any crazy side effects, but it doesn't mean you won't. I'm not willing to drop mine either bc the withdrawal is a bitch and it actually does keep me straight. But I'll definitely report back after I experiment.. good luck!
I did 2 e pills and moxy while on Wellbutrin and didn't notice too much difference. Still tripped and rolled pretty hard. Wellbutrin isn't a SSRI though, and I am only taking a 1/2 dose most of the time, if any, everyday.
welburtin is pretty much a beta-ketone...funny chemistry. i have a friend who in his younger years used to cut his dad's huge 150mg XR's into huge painful rails and get kind of a beta-ketone stimulant effect.
Dunno if it's cause of the SSRI or not, but I did 2C-I twice on Lexapro, and both times it gave me slight visual phenomena that lasted after the trip and I still see (more noticeable floaters, annoying light sensitivity, increased CEV), basically a light case of HPPD. When I tried to go off the SSRI, it seemed to get somewhat worse, though that could be because of anxiety during withdrawal. Anyway, I'd say don't risk it, because I honestly wish I could go back and undo those two 2C-I trips. 2Cs, and phenethylamines in general, aren't exactly the healthiest hallucinogens for your body and mind. But ultimately, it's your body. Let us know how it goes, if you decide to dose!
