well a slightly more complex way of describing "american culture" is that its an intolerant culture of tolerance, meaning that this country that is so "PC" is the most ignorant society, especially towards other society, for instance "America is the greatest country on earth" sound familiar?
yeah too bad...but good poetry irregardless. Also now that I think about it, what is there really a "greatest country on earth"?
Astute observation. There are so many ironies with regards to the current world situation and the United State's role in bringing it about and its TRUE objectives when all the bullshit terrorism, tyrant and WMD excuses get disproven. The people who profit most from the notion that we are imperiled by such militant extremism from the middle east are the very people who would have us believe that their objective is to rid the world of it... like pharmaceutical companies who profit more from maintaining illness through prescription, oil fortunes and investments in military subcontractors stand to pad their already corpulent values by the fact that a heightened state of paranoia adds volatility to the commodity whose investment value spikes two and three bucks per barrel every time some sheik or warlord gets a hair across their ass.
I think that is a great poem, and I really enjoyed the flow. it would make a good song, but few would want to listen to it. too much truth for most of america. Wonderful work tho
its funny you say that, it is written originally as a song, but i need more ppl in my current music project to actually create a band
in all honesty, when im of age i wouldnt mind traveling out to U.S, maybe meet so of you guys in person. get in a band, betray its members, go to sex and coke parties, become a heroin addict - always chasin the dragon i cant catch. haha but yeah man, maybe some day ill be in the neighbourhood, hopefully by then ill be true rockstar material =P
