Why do married men cheat more often than married women?

 

I don't know, I am a huge Desperate Housewifes fan though!

 

Men orgasm faster than women. Therefore a man's extra-marital encounter takes less time than a woman's. Therefore, there is more opportunity.

Put another way, for a man to cheat, he has to find a free half hour while his wife needs to find a full hour of safe opportunity.

This fits with the survey's 2:1 ratio of cheating husbands to wives.

(Yes, I'm kidding. I have no idea why more men admit to affairs than women.)

Higher sex drive?
Men have more sexual needs while women typically have more emotional needs?
It takes less to turn a man on than a woman?

I wasnt saying EVERY man masturbates more than EVERY women. But in general, MOST do.

 

and there is nothing wrong with that, but three times a week of masturbation compared to "0" for females, now that is interesting.

Hmmm, see I haven't experienced that much of that in my own personal relationships..
A few times along the way I had mates that were very aloof.

 

i may get nailed for this, but i think alot of it is just instictual. we are the only practicing non-polygimist ape. the goal of any life-form is to make as many babies as it can. as soon as a woman is pregnent, she is "done" for the next 9 months. but a male has to restrains. he can impregnent as many women as he wants. so he goes searching for someone else. of those men who cheat, i think the vast majority still love their wife more then anything else. what they have with other women is vastly different from what they share with their wife. the random girl is for sex, so a guy can get a rush from having seduced another woman. but your wife is someone you can love, and can protect, and can share everything with, including sex. i'm not saying it's ok for men to cheat on their wives, because honestly, you made a VOW to be with them and only them until death do you part.

 

So...yeah. 22% cheat.

Studies have shown that women most likely had sex with multiple partners too. Thus insuring fertilization.

As far as getting nailed for it...This is all very entertaining, but I don't think we really have all the facts in.

that's a TINY study to be basing anything off of
