well some people think it could be armageden... personally i could think of worse things...

 

2012 is the most mysterious and important year in my different propchies from all over the world. This includes Native Americans, Mayans, Bible, and the Bible Codes. There is also some Egyptian calender that says that year of the End is 2012, but I have not looked into that and don't know if it's a realible soruce. Like you said the Mayans did predict the end in 2012. Now the Mayans did not know anything about the Bible or that stuff, but they were brilliant when it came to astronomical events. They have predicted all the astronomical events we have wittnessed in the last 2000 years, according to some scientists the Mayans predictions are only off by an average of 5 seconds. So the Mayan calender then suddenly ends at 2012. OK, well that does not mean the end of the world right? No, when you look at whats is going to happen in space in 2012 you are surpised to see that it is the most fantastic event to ever occur. In 2012 our solar system lines up with the axis of the Unvierse, which is something not to take lightly. This has never happened in history before. Now acoording the Bible Propchey if the seven year tribulation period ends in 2012, then it must begin in 2005, which it will. The start to the seven year period is fortold by the bible to be marked by a peace treaty between the mayor players of the End Times Events. Soon after the siging of this treaty you will see the world go into choas, one event leading to this choas will be the total destruction of the United States. But, back to 2012. So 2012 is the end date of the seven year period, in propchey in the last year of the End Times Earth will be hit by an asteriod. This asteriod will break into seven pieces, there is also a vison in the Bible that speaks of a seven headed red dragon striking Earth, sounds like a seven piece asteriod to me. So also in this last year Jesus comes back and saves the world from evil, thus defeating the anti-christ and his armies. We then enter into the Kingdom of God, with Jesus on the throne. There will be peace for 1,000 years and then Satan will get realsed again, probably then this whole cycle will happen again. This entering into the Kingdom of God probably will have something to do with the lineing up of us and the axis of the Universe. Now for the Bible Code it also predicts a huge asteriod coming our way in 2012. I don't know if the Mayans saw the asteriod or the entering into the Kingdom of God, but for some reason they stopped their calendar on this year, the most important year in history. So that is what is going to happen in 2012, it is very strange how all these different propchies make up the same picture.

the world economy will fail before 2012 .... speculation ....globalized capital and low intensity conflict will break the banks esp . with heavy debt and minimal savings

the calendar on my computer ends in 2099

 

I just think it will be the end of civiliazation as we know it. There will be a whole different system. My ex thinks there will be a strong energy over the earth and only the enlightened will be able to survive or something. We had a 3 hour debate... hm

 

I find it interesting that we're in a time of great changes, in a bit (geological time scale) the earth is going to reverse it's magnetic field (compasses will point south) we also have global warming and many many other things happening, I have often wondered if 2012 will be the azimuth of those changes (for a brief time earth will have a neutral magnetic field)

 

I'm not big into science, but if the magnetic field was neutral, what would happen?

 

Ah shit, I remember reading about what would happen, but I can't remember it too clearly.. Something about without a magnetic field we'd be way more vulnerable to radiation from the sun etc.. But it shouldn't be too bad so long as it doesn't last for too long a time..

some parts of the mayan prophecies are good, the world could be coming to an end but only to make it better for us, we will still be here i reckon

 

There is one thing for sure though, something major will happen. I think its more likely that this is the begining of the Apcolypse rather than the end, since it seems more political events need to come in place (WWIII will happen b4 the Rapture and the rebuilding of Solomon's temple.

2012 is the time when the poles will shift.
male energy will become female energy which means the end of the world as we see it now. indians believed that your dreams are your real world,
it's true in the way that your dream world is female and this world is male.
the world will be more spiritual, we had have 'female' worlds before,
we build stonehenge in them, there was atlantis and belovodia.
before this all happens we're gonna have a short period of wars (with a draft and all, women in the draft too), more diseases (bird flu!), and problems with the weather (hurricanes, tsunami's, it feeling like summer when winter) more cropcircles and the government will tell people the truth about aliens etc, which is gonna scare the shit outta people.
we'll be alright though.
2012 will be the end of the world as we know it.
only, we fucked up the earth and nature is already in '2012 mode'
so things might happen a little faster.

i think i am looking forward to it, but am a little scared of the possiblities of it, and I am also prepared for nothing much to happen, but I would love something to happen, the world needs a little shake up, and its time for the planet this time to control the movement, power to the planet

 

I hope something happens...something that get's us back to basics. We've done a poor job at taking care of not only the planet, but the universe. There is talk of this being our last chance as humanity to earn our rights as conscious material beings in the universe. We will either live up to our potential and evolve to the next level of consciousness or it's time to start over.

well if it is true the world ends in 2012 then we better do something worth doing. like the guy from Saw said. live ur life with meaning man. but yea it looks pretty bad for us people. but if we just start a new way of life or something maybe weed will be legle! ill be 21 in 2012 so I still kinda want to have a real life ya kno?

 

it don't end. THIS world ends, we get a new engery, a shift, a 'new' world.
