2009 NFL Playoffs

I don't usually watch football that much but this year I've been following it alot and grew a liking to the dallas cowboys. The playoffs start tomorrow, and they face Philly. ANyone else here watch the NFL Playoffs?

I expect my Patriots will be going down quickly... if Baltimore doesn't do it San Diego certainly will. I'll follow the playoffs to the SB anyway because I enjoy watching the game...

Ya they're gonna be playing some pretty hard teams...
I'm kinda nervous for them to be playing the Ravens. I hope they pull through!

 

I don't know why I became a Cowboys fan. I guess it's when i saw Miles Austin play against KC, he was amazing, and there defence latley is incredible, 2 shutouts in a row.

 

I think they will beat Baltimore since there at home but there aging defence will be no match for san diego. Or indy.

 

I've watched many games with my friend and his wife (she's a Dolphins fan!)... some during the Jimmy Johnson/Barry Switzer era... when they were a playoffs mainstay... good years for them and I have no doubt they'll see more. He became a fan when he was stationed in Texas (Army) in the early 80's-just after Staubach.

 

Yep- no arguments here... the loss of Welker and uncertain status of Moss will seriously cripple them and I'd be a bit surprised if the even beat the Ravens... though being at Foxboro is certainly something.

 

I wish i could of seen those days... 3 superbowls in 4 seasons.

The first football game i ever saw was when the pats beat the pantheres in 02 i think.

 

Pats beat Carolina in '04- after the '03 season... they won their first SB in '02- over the Rams. Having stuck by them during their years of perpetual suckdom I was in disbelief...

haha but yeah it must of been in 04 cause i clearly remember it was against the Panthers.

 

Cincinnati beats the N.Y. Jets
Baltimore beats New England
Arizona beats Green Bay
and
Philadelphia and Dallas depends on who shows up to play

 

This looks reasonable... and I vote the Eagles move on to the divisional round and the Cowboys dust off their golf clubs

edit- the above is just a prediction and not necessarily what I would have happen

 

i want Dallas to win.. just so they can get their asses kicked by the Vikings.. im sure you can figure out how i expect the rest of the playoffs to pan out

 

If you’re going down to Foxboro (or up in your case) dress warm it’s supposed to be 24 F with a strong NW wind

BTW: Tom Brady is 16 wins and 1 loss when the temperature is below 32 F

and in his only loss, QB Matt Cassel was brought into the game during the 4th quarter because they couldn’t improve their seating during the 06’ playoff run.

looks good... except i think the pack is gonna run over the cards.. the packers are looking crazy good.. i know its tough to have to beat a team back2back weeks.. but the packers are on a roll.... and i go with Dallas over Philly..

what i really hope for is Vikings/Saints... Vikings/Pack for NFC Title would be record viewing #'s.. but i'd rather not 3-0 on a team in a season would be tough
