1- My scalp is absolutly dry as a dry thing in a desert atm, any suggestions 2- millions of loose hairs, more than I have had for long time, and I've been told all sorts of stuff, wash more, wash less, wear a hat, don't wear a hat etc. Im getting pretty fed up of them TBH. Is this a seasonal thing to do with the cold and central heating or is it related to dry dry scalp or what. I'm tempted to get my sister to pull some of them into the roots, I don't like "maintaining" but right now I look like I have an afro.
The 3-5 pages of arguments that will erupt shortly will boil down to two options. 1. Do nothing. 2. Crochet Hook. Jim
How old are yours? cuz if they're a little on the older side, crochet would be fine, just to maintain though. aloe helps moistureize the scalp, and maintains frizzy hairs as well. If they're on the younger side, aloe, again. but no crochet too early on. you can also go to the dermatologist if the dryness is really bad, and they'll fix it real fast. but if its cold where you are, then yeah its just the season. the cold dries out a lot of peoples scalps
First, this^^^^^ Second, a breakthrough in dread maintenence. This minus the helmet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RQeWM4w82E&feature=youtube_gdata_player"]YouTube - Kid breakdancing head spin equals no frizzies.
I expect that your hairs are on a "cycle", and a bunch shed and regrew at the same time, and now they're all coming out at once.... If you do nothing and there's a WHOLE bunch of loose hair, it will form small locks which are congo'ed from just about the start.
Can I get in on this drunk dare? I was going to cut tomorrow, no time to get shitfaced and shave your head like a sunday. *edit* to encourage locking, I reccomend a vigorous lather or 3 with dr. bronners, weekly or so at least. Will probably help get things bone dry and some of those worked in, no hooks needed.
Dry scalp shampoo and conditioner then hot oil. No one has ever agreed with me yet on this but that will make your head nice.
Bloody Good Idea, Take The Van For A Long Drive Pypes, Then Drop The Oil Out Of Her, Place A Towel Around Your Shoulders, Then Slowly Pour The Oil Over Your Head, Remembering To Squeeze It Through Your Dreads So They Can Benefit From This Procedure As Well.... I See My Advice As Being Win Win All Round, You Get To Solve Once And For All Your Dry Scalp, And The Van Gets An Oil Change... Glad To Have Been Of Assistance, If The "Major Burns Unit" At Your Hospital Allows Laptops, Please Post And Tell Us How Things Went.... Cheers Glen.
Yeah, I've just about had it with the hair and make-up tips section. Good luck. http://musicalstewdaily.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/weir_finger_830713.jpg?w=226&h=300
i wouldn't see a dermatologist unless it's super really bad, as my guess is they'd advise you to cut and i don't think that should be your first port of call. incidentally, for scalp i reccomend rosemary tea and tea tree oil; for that and :afro: yeah i'd try aloe and for the fact that you've got loose hairs just whatever you do, be gentle with your head.
