Ok...so I was of the skeptical bunch. I don't have access to an oven and don't have much time alone at home. Yesterday I had the chance to finally make them. I got four large crackers and placed slices of cheese (cheddar, but not the god-awful pre-sliced and packaged ones) on each cracker. I placed it in the micro for 20 seconds, and the cheese was partially melted. I placed the weed on two crackers... roughly 1-1.2 grams. I used the other weedless crackers to make the sandwiches and made sure the cheese completely covered the weed. I wrapped them in plastic wrap and slit a hole in both so they wouldn't explode. I popped them in the micro and set it for 1 minute. Every 15 seconds I had to stop it so the steam would be released. I ate them like an hour later and waited. Looking back I should have ground up the weed much more (was pressed for time) and maybe not wrapped them in plastic, although the added heat may have helped. I had read somewhere that effects should take place 45 minutes after. Well forty minutes had passed and nothing. unfortunately, my ex-gf called me (we broke up last week) and we were discussing a few things and, well, you may know how difficult these situations can be. So here's the thing, we are still talking and it's been about an hour and twenty minutes since I ate the firecrackers. I am looking at the carpet when I sorta feel like my vision is focusing more on it than normal.... I ask myself, could it be? or is it placebo? a few minutes later, ever so slowly, just like creeping up on me, I start to feel it more, become more happy (even though I was still talking to her) and my body felt relaxed. My mind became a bit more accelerated and my vision felt like it would if I had smoked. This is the first time I get high off eating. I loved it. For some reason it wasn't very intense, but more soothing yes. It lasted about two and a half hours, but I know it can be more intense if I try. I think next time I'll grind up the weed better and maybe find another substance with more fat. Also leave it in the micro for more time. I don't want to use more weed because I did use up a lot, and with that amount I could of smoked and gotten high 3-4 times. Any suggestions? All in all, something I will do again.
Yes I would. Make sure you grind up the weed well and stick them in the microwave until you start smelling a weedish smell. Don't get me wrong, it does not smell like weed, but you will know that it smells like something else than crackers and whatever filling you use (as long as its fatty or oily). It has a distinct smell (something that used to worry me) but trust me, it is hard to identify its weed, at least, using this method. I just made four more. Two for me, and two for a friend. I used nutella this time. (chocolate and hazelnut cream). It's oily and fatty, so I hope it works better. I also ground up the weed more and left them in the microwave for a minute and a half, then for another thirty secs. That was when I could definitely smell something else. We are going to eat them later tonight.
Nuttella sounds tastier than cheese. When you eat them, let me know which ones tasted/worked better. I hope you and your friend have a good time tonight!
don't use plastic, it's unnecessary. plastic wrap should handle the heat. Plastic bags probably won't.
every time that i´ve made firecrackers, i´ve used a fresh jar of natural peanut butter (the kind that you need to stir. there should be a layer of oil on the very top when you buy it). even after stiring it, it´s still pretty oily, but after refridgerating, the oil wont separate anymore. that´s why i´ve used a fresh jar to try and maximize the amount of oil. then i made little sandwiches (club crackers, smuckers PB, if you´d like to know), wrapped them in aluminum foil and popped ´em in a 350º oven for about 20 min or so. i´ve never used a microwave for this, but i would doubt it makes a difference. as long as you´ve got the oil/fat taken care of, i think heat is a secondary.......something or other......... damn. i was sober when i started writing this, and now i´ve just had a bag off a volcano. i´m done typing for a while
ya man, the old thread about peanut butter firecrackers got me to make my own... definetly a good call. i did the oven method... natural peanut butter double-layered (as in cracker, PB, weed, PB, weed, PB, cracker) spread with ground up weed (approx. .8ish grams) sprinkled and mushed in there. on 350 fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, and you should smell a sort of burnt weed smell (but not the same as smoking smell, and not NEARLY as strong). i only smelled it when i opened the oven, and then only for a second. ill attest to 'em. kicked in about 1 hour after eating, and the high was constant and good for at least 3 hours, probably more like 5. it was a very good time, planning to do it again maybe tomorrow!

yeah, will do man... I have a feeling the cheese-weed firecracker is pretty much the same, except cheese instead of peanut butter. okay, here are your ingredients: 1) however much weed you want. most people put in between 0.7 and 1.5 grams. it can be plain old green or vape remains, though if you're using vape remains it will take more. 2) crackers. they can be saltines, ritz, basically anything that can serve as a cracker. you will probably want about 6 of 'em. 3) natural peanut butter. i'm talking the stuff with separate oil and peanut butter parts, that you usually mix before eating. the oil is completely necessary, for absorption reasons. Process: 1) Take one cracker, spread a layer of peanut butter on it. Make sure you get the oily and the peanut buttery part - using peanut butter from the top of a new jar probably works best. The layer should be about 0.5 centimeter thick - just guesstimate. 2) Grind up your weed, and sprinkle some on. You don't need to try to sprinkle it all onto one cracker - just put on a decent amount (I put on enough weed to sort of cover the peanut butter). 3) Add another little layer of peanut butter on top of the weed - be careful not to make a sticky weed-peanut-butter mess when you put it on. 4) Repeat step 2 for this second layer. 5) Add a little bit more peanut butter on top of the second layer, and put a cracker on top. You should have a double-layer 'sandwich' of weed and peanut butter. 6) Repeat this step for however many crackers it takes to use all your weed (I used three 'sandwiches', or 6 crackers). 7) Optional step - spread a little bit of peanut butter around the side of the crackers (almost like sealing the peanut butter and weed in). It should not take much peanut butter. I did this because after I made my crackers, I felt like the peanut butter was oozing out of the side a bit more than I wanted, and that this might A) waste weed when cooking, or B) make it a messy process. Cooking: 1) Put on some sort of baking sheet or cooking tray - anything that is safe to put in the oven. 2) Heat oven to between 300-350 Fahrenheit (I'm thinking that's around 200 Celsius). I kept it mainly at the lower heat, because I was afraid of the crackers burning. Just keep it mind that you should add on a few minutes if it's at a lower heat. But 330ish is about optimum. 3) Stick your firecrackers in there, and wait about 20 minutes. Check them every once in a while to see if they are cooking (the crackers will brown), and if you should turn the heat up or down. 4) Take 'em out, be careful of the heat, and eat 'em! As for cooking in the microwave, I'm not entirely sure. Haven't tried it and I don't know enough about how microwaves work to risk wasting my weed :O. But, someone try it out! Notes: Smell - I know a lot of people are concerned about smell. I'm also pretty paranoid when it comes to smell... Hence, I checked it out regularly. The first 10 minutes will be virtually odorless, but as the weed and peanut butter get hotter the smell naturally grows a little bit. HOWEVER, the smell was never to the point where it was noticeable by other people, even though I live in a house of five, two of whom were in the kitchen at the time, also cooking. - It WILL smell a little bit when you open the oven to check it - you will probably get a noticeable whiff of burning weed, though like I said above, not the same smell as you get from smoking it. Much more muted. - A great thing to do is to cook other things that have powerful smells at the same time. I cooked a burger at about 5 minutes in, and made popcorn at 15 minutes... this probably really helped cover whatever small smell there was. Effects: - It should take about 45 minutes to 75 minutes to kick in. Once I reached my high, it lasted for about 4 solid hours, and I didn't feel particularly burned out afterwards. - I didn't try mine with a large amount of weed, but I've heard the effects from eating weed in large amounts is a lot more intense... give yourself some time to chill if you're gonna load it up. I'd love to tell you how the nutella firecrackers worked, but I couldn't tell because I took a hit of acid for the first time... but my buddy which I shared them with had to go to his house because he was baked out of his mind. I myself, at almost 4am am still feeling the acid. I need to go to sleep

what - from the volcano or the peanut butter firecracker? ..........yes i´ve always done a single layer of PB and weed, not the double described by wonderboy. it still works, of course, but with more weed, the more high you´ll get.
