Very interesting stuff. It was in a capsule, but I dumped it into a little water and dissolved it to help with absorption. The only negative aspect was that I felt kind of wound up some of the time and couldn't think of what to do. Otherwise, it was really a nice intense trip. I think it would have been better to not do by myself. There was one person around, but she didn't take any and went to bed before me. I really wanted to take a walk, but was too worried I'd run into a neighbour or something, so I chickened out. I think that would have been intense. I wish I went out. Sound was really intense. I was in the kitchen and my friend opened a bag of chips in the next room. It was the "loudest," most intense sound ever. I got a little confused because some people a few houses down were playing basketball, but it sounded like it was the next door neighbours because it sounded very close. I was thinking, "did they get a basketball hoop?" I had to go upstairs and look out the window to see if they were out there playing basketball...they weren't. I watched a recording of the Daily Show with my friend. That was really weird. Watching Jon Stewart performing, and seeing the tension on his face. I felt so bad for him having to go up there and perform. I knew he wanted to and was making a lot of money, but I felt so bad that we were making him perform for us. We should just let him go home and relax. And go to the store and stuff without being recognized or bothered. The poor guy. Definitely tripped pretty hard on that amount. It seems like that was a good amount: 17mg. Tripped pretty hard, and it was definitely difficult communicating with the outside world...but possible. I might try some 2ci in a little while. Maybe 25mg or so. I've had 2ce and 2ci available for a while, but only tried a little 2ci a while ago (maybe 10-15mg). I'm hoping to make it about equivalent in intensity to the 17mg of 2ce, so I think 25mg would be good. And, there were some crazy visuals. Everything looked different. Some minor trails. It was a warm night so we had some windows and a slider open. It gave the atmosphere of the house being open to the outside. It rained later in the night and I smoked a lot of weed and drank a little wine. A really nice trip. The nice thing about it is that I know if I take 17mg again, I'll have a similar experience. It was pretty similar to LSD to me. It was a little different than any other trip, but that's always true. Lately the thing I hate about LSD is that a hit is usually too weak for a good trip, and you never know how much to take, so that's one big advantage in the RC world. I'll probably get a couple more of the 17mg 2ce caps when I get the 2ci. It was a fun time.
i think you're right -it would be more fun tripping with someone else. when i take it alone, it's always good, but it's a lot better with a tripping friend. -you should have went outside. going outside at night is basically my favorite thing to do on 2ce. either that or laying and listening to music. -17mg is a good dose. i've had ranging from 12-20mg, and i think my best trips were with 17 or 18mg. if i ever get more, i'm gonna stick with that dose. thanks for the report
don't listen go for the 2ce but to be fair, i've only had 2ce (and 2cb) 2ci doesn't sound that interesting to me
hmm....interesting. i've heard varied things, but isn't 2c-i is supposed to be more like 2c-b, in that it is easier to just take and have a fun day, where as some of the others are just balls to the wall? i'd REALLY like some 2c-b more than any others at this point in my life though [i have yet to actually try any of them, but have heard 95% good things, and idk any good vendors who stock B]
I definitely get the same feeling about 2ci from everything I've heard about it. I want to take it soon so I can compare them. (I tried it once, but just 12mg or something.) I don't know. I heard a lot about 2ce being "challenging" or "difficult" and stuff, but it wasn't as difficult and challenging as a shroom trip can be. (In my single experience ) There was a little confusion because I felt wound up and couldn't think of what to do with myself. I think that's partly because I didn't have anything to do and didn't want to go out on a walk. It was really fun, but I was also tripping really hard, so it was really trippy too. But it didn't seem extra challenging or difficult on the trippy side. Trip to trip on the same thing differs so much, it's so hard to tell what differences are related to the chemical and what is just the tripper. I know from what I've heard and read, I'd expect 2ce to be more challengingly trippy in some way, and for 2ci to be more of a fun clear headed trip. You'd really need a study where people took the different chemicals and described their experience to know for sure. (It seems like a placebo is kind of pointless in this study, but I guess you could add that in.)
Well, I've only tried 2c-e, but I can tell you that 2c-e can get a very dark feeling sometimes. I've had a few trips where the come-up feels very dark/strange, but whenever I hit the peak, that feeling passes over. I know at least one other person who can agree with me that 2c-e feels dark.
peacegrow, you make a good point. your expectations of the chem can make a big diff. so i tried to go into my one 2cb trip thinking that it'd be similar to 2ce...not "lighter" or something. well it turned out to be.. but that's ok i didn't think 2ce was as challenging or difficult or even as dark as my online reading implied, but i keep my doses somewhat low...when you get to like 18 or 20 mg (and higher i assume) it starts to show it's character more. hopefully i'll get to try a little 2cc and 2ct7 too. see some of the subtle (or not so subtle) differences.
I think a drug can only be as dark as your mind is. 2c-e is probably just less forgiving than some other less serious substances. 2c-e might be a little too much for some people, but I certainly don't think it is inherently dark. It definitely has a lot more "re-up" value than -i or -b. It has a lot more depth. 2c-i had a lot of funky colors and was fun for what it is, but I have very little interest in doing it or 2c-b again. 2c-e can kick your ass...you may or may not like that. P.S. If you ever really want your ass beat down hard, snort some.
