Antarctica Without Ice No Hoax

 

what am i looking?

 

A 500 year old map made for the Ottoman empire which according to his wiki link is believed by "pseudo-scholars" to prove that antarctica didnt have ice.

I'm not really sure of the signifigance of the ice but saying a map 500 years old made with limited knowledge compared to now days proves anything like what the poster seems to be claiming is stupid.

 

Its Antarctica without ice, we couldnt map that shit for millions of years...

yes and it does say that is believed by pseudo-scholars.. but the guy who made the page is a dick.. Aliens or something once gave mankind huge amounts of knowledge...

theres other maps but you have to find them yourself.. im not going to enlighten you

No, I think higher beings came to earth, and gave knowledge to humans, at the dawn of civilization.. Things weve forgotten.. I think these maps are only the tip of the Iceberg of what we don't know about our total history..

Here is another map The Oronteus Finaeus map of 1531 that shows Antarctica without Ice, with rivers and mountains.. this again has not been seen for millions of years.

I wasn't aware this thread was supposed to have any intellectual content. I could dig up an old book of fairy tales if you'd like me to contribute something more relevant.

 

according to that second map, there is also no pacific ocean, no separation between asia and north america, and antartica and south america are touching, no hudson bay, etc etc...

all any of this proves is that where they had no knowledge, they made very poor guesses...

If the OP wishes, I can go find some old maps that 'prove' the earth was also flat...

Yeah. It's pretty common knowledge that these old maps are filled with guesswork. People were more keen to purchase your map if it appeared to be comprehensive. So what they didn't know, they made up.

 

you are not a cartographer, neither am I but I know that these maps are accurate, and you have to think it was drawn in the early 16th century, after these were drawn, in 1570, what is considered to be the first modern atlas was created.. and it wasnt perfect

This is true but there is 5 or 6 maps that have many of the same features.. and when you look at the topography of modern seismic surveys compared to that of the 16th century maps it is actually quite striking along with the other 4 maps.

This is not a proper analogy, there is really no way anybody could have mapped these regions with any accuracy, I dont think 6 people could guess and be right with any accuracy.
