Is 14 to young to get a tattoo, my parents told me last night i could get one then today when i asked them about it they almost bit my head off and told me i was to young.
psh..thats what my parents said when i was like 14. my dads like 'oh do you want a tattoo?' but i never knew what i wanted and didnt think he was serious anyways, then when i got one when i was 17, he didnt really care....but then i got another one like a few months later and he got MAD because it was more bigger/noticable. oops but thas off subject, well i think if you KNOW for sure sure sure what you want, then i think its alright to get a tatoo. but like i had alot of ideas for tattoos when i was younger, and now when i think of them i think 'oh god, i cant beileve i wanted to get THAT on my skin!' maybe in a few years i might think that about the ones i have now, but i dont think i will because they mean alot to me. but if u do decide to get one, either find someone you know or yer friends know who does them, so they wont card yah. or just look in some tattoo shops, and just walk right in and tell them what you want and hopefuly ull look old enuff for them not to card you. haha cuz they didnt card me. ok this is long now...goodluck!
IMHO, yes, 14 is too young to get a tattoo. Infact, most(if not all) qualified tattoo shops won't tattoo you until you're of age(usually 18). I'm not against tattoos, nor do I feel that you aren't capable of making this type of decision. However, most fourteen year olds aren't mature enough to properly grasp the ramifications of a tattoo. In addition, since you will be forced to go to a shady shop, then you are putting yourself at risk. The bottom line... If you are sure of what you want, you can still get it in four years. Waiting sucks, but regretting sucks more. Peace
