Has anyone seen it? I've been wanting to go see it but every review I've read states that it's a worthless piece of junk - any differing opinions? Hotwater
the reviews i've read all said it sucks. i don't listen to the reviewers. most of the movies i like they (the reviewers) all say suck. i think their reviews suck! the best way i have found, to find out about things like books, cds, movies etc. is to ask other people who like the same i do. it is not full proof either, but it works better for me then reading some big time critic.
To tell you the truth, I thought it was kinda boring. But the effects were great. I give it a 7/10. Marius
It looks pretty cool. what, with the mammoths and all! But some of my friends went, and they said it was a let down... dunno though I might still see it.
it sure in the hell is! i just saw an indie low budget movie, i got from netflix in the mail. its a spend-off of the "kill bill" movie and... IT WAS FUCKING GREAT! it is titled "mulva 2: kill teen ape!" it is directed by chris sheaver, and stars debbie rochon. seavers company is called "low budget pictures. actuality, as low-tech as the speical effects are, his company should be called "no budget pictures." i hear the whiners complain about how crappy his movies are, because they are not, polished hollywood shit. it is not just seaver, there are so many directors out there, who make this stuff for like a few hundered dollars, who could be making hollywood shit and millions of dollars, but they want to be creative and free. every time i hear a whiner complain about how shitty these low budget indie movies are, i tell them "go make your own movie, if you think you could do better!" they never take me up on it. (someday one of them might.) as for the movie mulva 2: kill ten ape! i loved it so much i even bought the dvd from amazon.com.
I just saw it. It's not going to make you any smarter, but it's an alright way to spend an evening... and if you've seen 'Apocalypto', it's pretty much the same story. But this movie has giant birds and yes, a tiger. But it looks like CGI.
