She probably didn't eat enough. Or she's in denial. Some people are fucked up. Also that figure is ridiculous.

i have known some people to require a whole sheet to trip..or so they claimed but id see em munch allthey could get theyre hands on...it effects every1 different
but probly theyd just liquified theyre mind tothe point that u just cant go higher

also...if you meditated all the time... and just were high... were the definition of highness.... lsd does nothing but give u a mild headache... but

i bet the girl in class never even tried it or..tried once & not enough

all shrooms are different..so its hard to0 guess & for a 1st try she prolly was smart and only tried a lower dose..actualy no..i think shes just makin it up & never tried em

Well... If you take 1 gram and split it between two people... I can tell you that it will have no effect. But.... 1 out of 7 people? thats a little much.
I agree with soaring she's probably never tried them, only heard about them and she wants to do them..so she pretends that she knows everything about it all...
You'll find a whole lot of people are like that. don't know why....

I've never run across any friend of mine who wasn't able to trip off a decent amount of mush (2+ grams).

Sounds too ridiculous man. I've tripped with more than 7 people before and they all were tripping. Poppycock!

My GF has tried shrooms two times and each time they failed to affect her. With the same dose, I was plenty affected following the basic timeline.

She does however become altered if she takes LSD (1 dose is enough).

The anti-depressants that she takes may be a factor, I would guess. We took a huge gamble and let her take one hit of XTC and just like the shrooms, no magic from the consuming, but me.. whammmo!

In my experience, which is VERY little, everyone else I know has tripped from LSD and Shrooms.

i didnt mean 1 gram spilt between 7 people. i meant she said that out of 7 people, 1 of them does not have the ability to trip.

I know what you meant. This person is just making things up... find anything anywhere that gives you this figure and I will mail you a trophy lol. Anti-depressants can make it so it's difficult, even impossible to trip, like someone already mentioned in this thread I believe. But don't believe that bogus stat, and in fact I probably wouldn't even believe her if she wasn't on some kind of medication.

I see you're still in high school, at your age I literally thought mushrooms were the worst drug there was for your brain. A lot of the kids thought the same thing, along with lots of other bogus drug 'facts' like you've heard from this girl... try to talk some sense into her, if she doesn't listen, fuck it.

yeah, the anti-deps can definately be a factor. i don't know exactly how they affect LSD and Shrooms; but I do know a bit about the way it affects XTC.

From my understand, the way XTC works is it basically (in my most un-scientific terminology) dumps all the Seratonin in your brain out so you feel that happy at one with the world feeling. If your GF is on an SSRI (which is what most anti-deps are: prozac, zoloft, paxil, lexapro) or Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitor that will affect how her brain processes the Seratonin (that 'happy' chemical) so, when you take an extacy pill, your brain doesn't process the Seratonin in the same way.
I have known some people that were on SSRI's that took up to 3 pills and had no affect. However, I have known some as well (including myself) that took only 1-2 tablets and had great rolls. If she wants to keep trying I'd say just up the dose a bit each time until she finally feels something. However, in trying to figure out what the 'right' dose is for her, you could possibly end up wasting a few $$$ sorting it out.

If you are taking 1 tablet of XTC ... then she should probably try 2.

If you are tripping off of 1/2 an eigth of shrooms ... maybe she will need 1 1/2 - 2 times as much.

Then again, maybe her brain is such that the anti-deps won't allow her to trip.

I've read in DMT-The Spirit Molecule that Dr. Strassman had administered .4mg/kg doses to people who were resistant to LSD, and others who thought there were badasses.... all
of them succumbed to the overwhelming power of dmt.
