When I translated it back to English it said Hey, Treasure. I like the Chinese.

Nah. It's 'Middle of the World', coz in ancient times, people only knew it was a large landmass surrounded by seas.

 

Actually it is "Zhongguo", meaning "Middle Kingdom".
But then again, most romanized (pinyin) Mandarin words have multiple meanings so it might as well translate to "Middle of the World".

I'm thinking it's because we are preparing for China to take over the world...

 

It is the most prominent language in the world.

But Chinas going to need to do a lot before it starts challenging the USA.

It's not middle of the world. It's center of the earth. And that's how it is written in Chinese. Mandarin is hot because that province has the capability to manufacture goods that would suport two-thirds of the worlds population (outside of China). Using slave labor, of course.

Their military is spending more resources to become a modern military, but their not spending near enough to even keep up with US military growth.

That's not jingoism, it's just a brief review of spending and technology.

In terms of economics, they will have an economy that will match ours in 20 years, but that's not surprising. India and Brazil will do the same in a while.

 

I'm happy for the attention. But if I were the President, I would definitely spend more on military instead of believing a shitty theory called Confucianism which propagandizes 'Rule by Kindness'.
