sweet sleep. it is a boon denied me. i tried earlier to bathe my restlessness in night-dew, but i'm fired with desire. never saw i, never felt a surge so deep. i want to "be" with you. i'm so overmastered by love that if you would not let me "be" with you i must go "be" with the does of some bucky herd or perish away heh!
i am consumed with a desire to paint with words, beautiful, regrettable things, in which darkness abounds...and that sinister and intoxicating moon, that hangs deep in the stormy night. There are those who inspire one with the desire to conquer them and to take your pleasure of them; but this one fills you only with the desire to die slowly beneath your gaze...while the blank canvass applauds amazed inaction. and then the sun rose and lit you up all with fire and mist. and i couldn't believe the beauty, it made me stare and weep...
