awesome pics.....i love northern illinois. are you anywhere near starved rock? i went there a few years back and it was absolutely awesome. i want to go there with my friends some time. but we live a good 700 miles away....so its a mighty trek.

 

I am about an hour and a half from starved rock...and yes it is gorgeous

The winning photos are published in the state magazine. I think that your second photo would do well in the Scenic/Flora category; you can send in a print or the image on disk.
