You are everyone in the world.

Think about that for a long time and I might give you the answer.

So there is No-self yeah. You are not just every one but everything as well. After all what are people but material things that have come to form a organism.

    Its a common idea.

It first dawned on me during a mushroom trip.

If I am everyone in the world, then why am I me?

freaker: if you truly believe that humans are no more than the combination of their parts-that awareness is no more than electric impulses, then consider: at the base level of existance, there is no seperation between a human body, the air around it, and the fence post next to it. they're all made of the same "parts".

Is that what is meant by saying we are all one?

no seperation. oneness. there are plenty of after-thoughts, interpretations and elaborations that spring from this fact, but yes.

Big Bang (Einstein) ... "and I witnessed multiple expansion and collapses of the Universe" (Buddha) ...

It would be a natural course for the mind to spectulate that what we are made of is from the same atoms as everything around us.

The food we eat become a part of us by way of the atoms that make up the plant.

The air we breath becomes a part of us by way of the atoms that make up the air.

In essence, we are a product of the planet ... the planet is a product of the solar system, that is it was made from a condensation of particles which created the solar system ... and all this came from the particles that were expulsed from the Big Bang (or the expansion of the universe).

To say otherwise would be to say that some other particles outside the ones that our universe are created from were introduced into the universe and became us ... or them ... or that ... or this ... or these ... when in fact the very particles that came from the great expansion are what we, planets, stars and even super massive black holes are made of ...

So why not the air, or the fense post ... ???

It doesn't mean that what we think the air thinks as well.

Likewise it doesn't mean that what we think or do the fense post thinks or does also.

Compared to the universe as a whole, our own existence is not even similar to a vapor. Because compared to the universe as a whole our own existence would be like some mere quantum foam, or quantum fluctuation ...

The comparison is moot ... that is because we are made of the same things as this or that. Explain the Big Bang to any one with a moderate level intelligence and they will naturally conclude that we are all made of the same thing. And I said "Explain" not just say "the Big Bang happened".

Literally, you are what you eat ... and breathe ...

"but it has now generated so much international interest and has such an important place in physics that well over one billion pounds is being spent in the hope that he was right. It's the biggest science project on Earth; the quest to find the 'Higgs Boson', a fundamental constituent of nature that - if it does exist - has such a central role in defining the universe that it's also known as the God Particle."

(follow the listen again link, very interesting)

I believe the first thing to exist was awareness/consciouness. I believe that everything connects through this consciousness (hence the Higgs Bosun link and quote) Non matter: the nothingness that binds everythingthing together.

I believe that is what Buddha means "and I witnessed multiple expansion and collapses of the Universe"

I believe everyone has the ability to witness the expansion and collapse of the universe... We,....everything is connected in non-matter.

I believe this non matter is consciousness/awareness.

(A deep thinking session one day went something like this[IMG]
In the begining there was nothing, no time, no space, no matter...I imagined nothingness: Then while I was looking into what this nothingness was to experience it, like Buddha the universe expanded before me, and it all made so much sense. When consciousness became conscious of itself, it wanted to know what else it was aware/conscious of: Hence the universe expanded, but that is quite a meagre discovery in what can be discovered once you become conscious/aware and within the no-boundaries of non matter!
Like many have said before, you become a creator....this is no idle sentence.

What a marvelous adventure awaits those who seek the truth.

For those who know what I mean, Hi, and peace be unto you too!
