ok dont hold me to this and anyone feel free to corect me since i m new to this as well but from what i understand is you have to wait till the flowering stage ( 12/12 light cycle) and then after you tranfser to that light cycle then in two weeks the males will show their "balls" and in the next following week the females will start growing their bud, colas or whatever you may call them but i repete CORRECT ME IF I M WRONG

this is true, but some plants nowadays are autoflowering, meaning that regardless of the light cycle you have them on they will flower/show their sex when they reach a certain point in their development.

If you are sure it is a male, pull it. If you arent sure, but dont want to risk pollination of your ladies, perhaps you have another place to let it grow and make sure before wasting a plant.

Are you new to growing? Well, if you are I should tell you plants get these little spots that look liek flowers on the nodes... There not flowers they're leaves.

I would wait before you chop it. You can sex some plants early via there preflowers and some strains and males can be autoflowering but not at 2 weeks old and 4cm tall. Chances are you are not looking at male flowers but some other imature growth. I'm not saying it is impossible but very unlikely. Definitely wait and see

If you see balls its male, if its got things that look like preflowers, keep it.

plants can be "sexed" at any time during growth (this is for indoor obviously) just change light cycle to 12 -12 for a couple days then back to 18-6 or 24 which ever, they should be at least 2 weeks old, 'cause I know someone will ask. get out your microscope the one recomended for flowering look at the nodes (where new leaves and stems eminate) first you'll see the stem and sun leaf; look closer and see a slender sharp pointed growth, it's cute but has nothing to do with flowering. now look even closer above and centered closer to the node there should be a small growth that may or may not tell right away. Here it gets R or even X rated the female parts look a lot like any animal genitalia with 2 little hairs growing from middle. Wheras the male looks amazing like human parts, a pointy little bulb on the end of of a stalk and or smaller bulbs at the base. as I said they may not be recognizable at first.
As I understand it ther eis a time period up to a week for plants to readjust to vegging which puts the cycle a week behind, this time should be added to total grow time if your going by how weeks till harvest.
