Very much so..there is a brilliant restaurant in a place called Southport.. it's called Tretoria 21.. amazing food and people. Been there a few times, always great standards.. so the opened one in Liverpool, so with a friend I suggested we go there because of the Southport one.. shouldn't have bothered.. not only did we wait for near an hour, in an almost empty restaurant, but we're then served cold food! The what was in the other place, beautiful pork dish, was tough as shoe leather, and served on instant mash! I complained, and insisted I payed for the meal, refused the free vouchers, and told them I would be commenting on their web site.. disgusting!

What was the worst meal you ever had?

 

Thanksgiving 2013 at a friend's house, who's wife was notorious for being a bad cook. Worst meal I ever had.

What's the strangest thing you ever saw?

 

My first grandchild, aged 4 days, looking at her dad, and smiling,, it was obvious she was going to be forward and clever! Which she is.. even the midwife and doctors were astounded!

Do you regard yourself as a people person?

 

I can fake it well enough but I don't enjoy it. Sooooo no.

What is the most recent thing you are/had put(ing) off?

 

Cleaning my garage. Been needing to do that for months.

What's the thing that irritates you the most?

 

My leg. I must be allrgic to something but no idea what.

What was the last check you wrote for?

 

First month's rent, plus deposit for the house we rented 3 years ago. Now we own it.

If somebody wants to go into space it's their money.
If it's funded by our government I think we should have votes on it.

The local hospital children's toy and equipment fund..

Hell no. I do donate to Make A Wish Foundation, though.

Didn't see it but heard it rummaging through our cooler. Tossed it around and emptied it out. What is best with just salt and pepper added?

 

Banquet Mac n' Cheese.
I didn't have salt and pepper in front of me last night, so I added some Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning.
Usually I like it, but it ruined that side dish.

Ever swam in the ocean?

 

About 50 times last year alone. Used to go to seaside every summer when I was a kid.

What single food do you think of when I say italian?

 

Ciabatta olive bread. Fresh,soft,with the green olives [not those manky black ones]...ohhhh,YUM!
