I saw the Dead, the Airplane, Sons of Champlin, Sanpaku, Spirit, and a few others during the year I lived in the Haight (1969-1970). I also watched Santana audition twice before Bill Graham let them open for someone at the Fillmore West.

wonder if they still do free shows at the park.Saw Zepplin with Lee Micheals at Quasar(?) stadium.Didn't have any tickets they just let us in.
