Lice OR dry scalp? and how do you find out?

ive only shared a pillow with maybe one person that has shared with others and well, my head is soooo itchy. well, not so itchy..doh. but it doesnt go away really.

i read that certain shampoos can do that and i use strong shampoo... also it's cold.

i dont have dandruff.. cause when i itch, no flakes.

could it just itch cause it's cold? i really only had ONE oppurtunity in 8 months to get lice but the lice thread has me worried.

if it's just cause it's dry (which i suspect)- how do i fix it?

and how do i find out if that's not it?

lol...........i think eventually you would see the bugs trish. Thats how i found brynnes i was brushing her hair and almost spewed when I saw the bug! ew!! ew! and Ew!

btw all this chit chat about lice has now made my head itch like a bitch.

see, my whole body itches cause it's cold and i have not used lotion and im a paranoid bitch.

hypochrondriac tendencies.

and i had lice when i was 8 so yeah, i started to wonder.

but really... i dont remember.... would i see them?

if its cos you've got dandruff/dry scalp then use Head and Shoulders.

If you think it might be lice then what you can do is get someone to check your head.

a fully grown adult louse looks like this:

They are typically about 2-3 millimetres long. Also, look for little brown eggs stuck to your hair about 1 cm from your scalp.
Typically, you'll find most of them around the ears and the back of your head.

well, wouldnt i notice then or my husband have noticed if it's lice? i mean.. how easy are they to see?

if it's dandruff..well, i have no flakes.

and it's just dryness (which i suspect)- how do i treat that? i can put lotion on my body and moisturixzer on my face. what is for the skulp?

bugs scare me! a guy on here got me infested with scabies before. that was the only other bug i had except for lice when i was 8.

in any case... i wont kill a bug.

lol Mr Pressed!! Thankfully, I can say I have never ever had lice or any other type of bug other than the flu bug. (Scratches head)

I doubt seriously that you have lice trish. I really think that there might be a difference in dry scalp itchy and lice itchy. I wouldnt know tho, it makes sense tho.
