Really, I thought women love to sex texts mainly, guess not all.
To the OP, that pat on the shoulder in my opinion was her way of sayin good try. You said you called and she answered, if she agrees to met you and doesnt stand you up, your good. If she doesnt, just be nice to her when you go to GameStop (ex manager), so she wont mess up your reserves. Odd question, what did you reserve?

Actually i don't like texts at all...but I tolerate them.
Yeah there is a such thing as cell phone etiquette, just as there is netiquette...it shouldn't matter your gender or sexual preference.
There are things that you text about and there are things that you call for.
Instant messaging on the computer is a bit different, in my opinion.

i've backed off asking for girls numbers because number 1: having a girls number does not automatically equal date. 2: how many times have you texted 10,000 messages with a girl and nothing came of it? 3:don't know what else just thought i should have at least three things.

While I agree in a general sense to everything that has been said, I've found that what is considered proper or not via communication and what method of communication is acceptable or offensive to the said person, and therefore the possible relationship.
Changes and is dynamic from person to person.
Basically: there are no rules.
