Perhaps it was hyperbole (you know what that means?) but it's true. Unless you are crazy qualified in a technical field (medical, IT, etc) NZ is very unlikely to even take a whiff at you trying to live there permanently.

You have to adapt to circumstances. Trying to live the world in the stuck-in, stubborn ideal way that you have in your brain will never work out, because the world is so much bigger than just your brain, about 6.5 billion times more complex. Running away out of the US isn't going to change anything. You aren't going to all of a sudden experience the world operating how you wished it would operate.

If you are unwilling to work in a way compliant to (not necessarily agreeing with) the "system" you will find yourself - hopefully - in a more sensible and balanced life.

There is no "us' purp haha theres just you who seems to be arguing everyone on this thread. Just shut the fuck up.
