yeah, I like the idea of direct democracy, but that system was abused in ancient Greece and was secretly being ran by aristocrats. But I think it could work now, esp with the internet. We should cut congress out of the equation and vote on our own laws.

.....Dude.... we can't even keep windows infection free, and we can't even keep the US government's malware pointed in the right direction..... How could we use the internet for that, safely?

What we need is a system that makes our elected officials more accountable to us. And the most direct way to START this transformation is to gut the link politics has with money.

Which party is that? I'm so done with Obama, and I decided I wouldn't vote for him, even if someone had a gun to my head! Bush took away our soldiers. Obama, took away our freedom. I'm voting neither Democrat nor Republican this year. They're all bought off by special interests. Everyone should vote third party, that would fuck them up. There's probably even another party out there, that has more support than the elephant and the Ass.
