friends with benefits

I'm interested in peoples' opinions about friends with benefits. Do you guys think its possible to do? I'm not really interested in a relationship, just having fun.

Certainly not very probable before dinner time in most countries that have electric toothbrushes.

I think it is possible but can cause complications... I have a female friend who has a guy in her life who is ''FWB'' but she admits to me she becoming 'too fond' of him

FWB can work, but usually emotions end up causing problems. Just be up front with the 'rules' and stick to them, and be ready to walk away when it's over.

I have to agree with both DMFP and His Eden, it can get complicated and usually someone gets attached.

I think for it to not get complicated, don't become close friends.

I've always wanted to know how long FWBs can last? I hear 1-6 months a lot (more often on the lower end) but I'm wondering if it can ever go for longer? Personally I'd find trekking to another persons house soley for sex a bit of a turnoff and a bit boring after a while. I mean when you're seeing someone or have a girlfriend/boyfriend yes sex is a part of why you see each other but theirs so much more to it than that. With a FWB I'm assuming you go over there, have sex and likely just leave. I mean if you stayed around for a bit and did other things together wouldn't it begin to blur the line between FWB and seeing eachother?

I think that if it's more than one or two times, someone is always bound to form some sort of connection past just fucking. Sex is a beautiful act "FWB" or not.
