The Psychic forum here has always been my favorite. I have strong beliefs in Psychics and other subjects I post about in here and I'm sure others do too. I see hipforums as a sort of safe haven and I always thought my posts would be respected as they're not meant to be jokes in any way, but sadly they're not always taken seriously and I get rude responses.
I'm thankful to the people who have helped me over the years but it's also been frustrating to have to weed through the comments of skeptics and just disrespectful people in general. I've yet to visit the religion forums but I wonder what goes on in there. I'm not religious but I do hope people in there are treated with respect and not questioned (invasively and rudely) for their beliefs.
I'm all for freedom of speech, but I'm also for Respect.
This is technically a hippy website with 'hippy values.' I think while creating hipforums hippy values must have been in mind just by the look of the subjects for each forum. I like to think these forums are different than any other forum out there where people just sarcastically harass others and are cruel. Thank goodness there are a lot of passive people on this site or I think there would be a lot of arguments and fighting.
I think the random thoughts forum and the 'mind fuck' forum or even the conspiracy forum are more suitable for people that want to be rude and sarcastic and debunk thoughts and theories.
