About the name, I was simply saying, a lot of dumb kids think that being a song by a psychedelic band, and obviously about drugs, it must somehow personify psychedelic drugs, if that makes sense. As long as you're not one of them, that's fine. But if it's your favorite floyd song, maybe you should listen to more floyd? It's a GOOD song, but I don't know if it's THAT good.
And yes, there is a way of knowing what kind of trip you will have: set and setting. Psychedelics magnify your mood, and your surroundings. Also, don't try to fight it, OR alter it. Like trying too hard to trip, or whatever. Take what you get. And if you're not tripping hard enough, go out in public, and you'll realize you're tripping a lot harder.

Oh well I meant its one of my favorites, it would be impossible for me to choose a single favorite out of all the songs they've released. I think I've heard just about all their songs and I've got most of their albums on CD and three on vinyl.
As for set and setting it was not a bad place I was in, there was little chance of being disturbed and it was somewhere I am fairly comfortable. But yes I am aware the mindset and setting your in going into the trip will effect the trip either positively or negatively. Also I don't think going out in public would have done much other than make me even more paranoid. But it was what it was, I've had better experiances with lsd and am sure there is a good chance I will have more such experiances.
