Creativity Chakras?

Hello, there!

I have a question that I would like to ask. I have scoured the net trying to discover exactly which chakra is in control of your imagination and creativity. So far that has lead me to the third eye chakra, the throat chakra and the sacral chakra. So exactly which chakra is it that helps with creative writing and creative visualization. I have no interest at all in being psychic or opening all of my chakras. I don't believe that I'm entirely ready for spiritual awakening. I won't go into why. Also is there a way to close or deactivate a chakra once it is activated? Can you pick and choose which chakras you open, close or deactivate? Some seem most helpful yet others seem to be rather... well not my pace.
