UK Protests November 2011

Due to the WW financial crisis, the UK has been cost cutting in a way not seen before in my lifetime (even in the days of "that bloody woman")
The attack of pensions is unprecedented = Work longer, Pay more and (upon retirement) receive less.
There are lots of ballots going out to trade union members that call upon a National strike due for 30/11/11.
One can only hope that all; including those of non-union membership, will answer the clarion call and make the point to show discontent and support those of a generation who have given much to the benefits of today's society.
In respect of those who say "I can't afford to lose a days pay" I reply "the consequences of this action will mean for you and I (and not those in Parliment who have Pensions protection) that you have to ask yourself, can you afford not to"?
