Hey, I got a ticket yesterday to see Paul McCartney at Wrigley Field, August 1st!
Still almost hard to sink in. Too good to be true. This guy is a legend. I've read high reviews and seen videos, and he's still got it. He plays 3 hour shows without a break!
And his "Electric Arguments" album from 2 or 3 years back is amazing, and even has experimental/ambient/psychedelic tracks. Each song on that album was written and recorded in one day, so that's saying a lot.
So, anyway, I'm going alone, and was wondering if any of you guys were going to see him then as well.
You can still get tickets here:
He's also playing July 31st, but I read those sold out in several minutes, so they added August 1st. So get one as soon as possible if you want one. For me, this is a lifetime opportunity considering I'm 18 and how many classic musicians I could never see live.
