New to the forum and a question on Molly...

Hi everyone,

I recently stumbled on some gel cap filled pills (as well as this forum). I found the effects somewhat disappointing compared to the experiences I had previously dating back to the late 1980's. Okay, some of you old timers may understand what I am referring to.

Molly is suppose to be be pure right? I didn't get the huge roll I was expecting. The experience was mellow. Is this new standard for E? I have been out of the club scene for sometime now. Anyway, I have enjoyed reading through the threads and look forward hearing from you.

There are some chemicals that are similar to MDMA passed off as molly but I also find Ecstasy to be a much more up experience than most the molly I've had. I have definitely gotten really good molly before but its a mystery to me why ecstasy is more of a rush. I've heard consistently its the cuts in ecstasy but old skool ecstasy users keep coming on here saying the same thing to reaffirm my view. I dunno Ive hypothesized it releases differently when binded in a pill, other than that ecstasy adulterants or you didnt get MDMA in your molly.

Thanks for the info. I took a couple of pills and the roll was really mellow with very little of the visuals that I was accustomed to seeing on E. So, is Molly something different than E? I'm a bit confused. It looked like same yellowish white powder. Although, I did break open one of the pills and tasted it. It had that nasty bitter taste but there was a hint of sweetness which was a bit odd.

I remember back when I initially took in powder form and it literally put me on the floor rolling. This powder really didn't have anything remotely resembling that type of kick. Again, thanks for the information.

MDMA is thought to have a diminishing returns quality as well where the tolerance is basically accumulated over your lifetime in a way as opposed to many drugs like pot where you take a short break and you'll be good. I've read mixed stories in regards to this phenomena but possibly something to consider.

Molly and E should have the same main drug MDMA in them.

I feel your pain. I'm not as old school as you, but the rolls I first experienced back in the late 90s and early 2000s are few and far between these days. The only recent experience I've had with E that compares to when I first started using it many years ago is from pressed pills. These days molly seems to be much more common since pressed pills have the tendency to have any and everything in it but MDMA.

There is much speculation on exactly what "molly" is (at least for me). Idealistically, it suppose to be 'pure MDMA' but in the day where research chemicals are abundant, it could be a number of similar types of drugs. I've had molly that tested positive for MDxx and it's yet to feel as strong as old school pressed pills. Querillabedlam could be right about it releasing differently in pressed from, or maybe some of the old pills were cut with another chemical that intensified the effect.

I quit using for several years and decided to start using again occasionally, and I've been trying to chase that first roll ever since.

LOL, I hear you. I stopped taking E about 7 years ago...responsibilities to work and raising a family. The last time I tried E, it was in pressed pill form and I rolled pretty hard. I think the molly wasn't totally pure. I thought a 7 year hiatus would have balanced my endorphin levels back to normal. Maybe not.

lol It won't. I took a 6 year break to finish grad school and get my career in order. Now I'm back to using just E (or similar effecting RCs) once or twice a month (depending on work obligations) and I've yet to reach that plateau I missed so much.

Pressed pills are becoming somewhat obsolete, depending on where you are located. Molly is taking its place and even the stuff that test positive doesn't compare to the rolls from the late 90s.

The ironic thing is, back when I first started using, I would either scrounge up money or sell on the side to pay from my road trips to raves and the drugs were incredible. Now that money isn't an issue, I've yet to find a consistent source of "good E."

You are reading my mind now. There were times when I debated about food v. E in my early adult life. The money is no longer an issue for me as well. Although, if what I took a couple of weeks ago is an indication of what is out there, I may just give up looking for it all together. Sad really.

To clarify:

"e" refers to pressed pills, which THEORHETICALLY should contain MDMA, but have a long history of being everything from 2cB to meth to nothing at all.

"molly" is slang for pure MDMA, though recently it's used more like "e", to refer to shit that kinda sorta might be MDMA.

Back in the day you may have been getting meth bombs, or something else. Or this time you might have got something else. Until a earlier today, I generally thought of molly as a pretty sure shot at MDMA, but now everyone's talking about bunk molly, or molly with other shit in it.... So I don't even know WHAT to think. I do know that I've recently come into contact with a source of "molly" in gel caps, which very well could be the same gel caps you're getting. It's very chill, you may find yourself moving to music, etc, it's sure as hell speedier than being sober, but it's not tweaking your balls off by any means. I've been TOLD this is legit, and it matches everything that I've read/heard, but I suppose it's possible that it's something else....

*edit*As I understand it, 2cB was a big cut, as well as being in legal pills, back in the day. Now that it's been scheduled for this long, it's more of a specialty drug, and you'll be buying it AS 2cB, intentionally. But it's speedy and lovey and visual and amazing, one thing that might tip you off to it being what was in pills would be a rough come-up, with an upset stomach and general psychedelic discomfort, before it becomes amazing. MDMA is visually subtle, it sounds like what you where originally taking may have been a 2C.

2cb is nothing like rushing off ecstasy.

I've mixed the two intentionally 5 times now as well as taking them individually both many Many times.
