I love this mans movies. From "1,000 Corpses" to "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto". As a teenage insomniac to a middle aged insomniac I know your references. To the fact that you could get an 11 year old kid to improvise with Malcolm McDowell on equal footing my hat goes off to you. I would love to sit on my couch get stoned and watch B movies with you and laugh at the inside jokes. I also love the fact that this man can get character actors like Danny Trejo and Michael Berryman to play off character that deserves one more beer and hit off the bubbler.
Peace Out,
Rev J

Rob is an incredible artist. His movies, music and drawings are all bad ass. (well actually some of his real early music I didnt like very much, the album 'Make/Let Them Die slowly' ).

I just love this guy. I saw him on some sort of TV interview once and he was asked to name like the most offensive performer ever and instantly came up with something to the effect of, "g.g. allen. I mean this guy would shit on the stage, urinate on his audience, etc. I cannot think of any performer who urinated on his audience, . . . oh . . . wait! Bob Dylan, during his religious phase!"

I love Rob Zombie! His music and movies are like no other. While everyone hates his version of Halloween 2, I love it. I'm glad he decided to make his own version rather than remake it. And the final result is a very artsy and almost experimental movie. I also like how he makes Michael Myers into a more realistic serial killer. Although his reasons may seem cliched, you will find that many serial killers expereince the same thing as Michael did in his childhood. Rob Zombie is most certaintly qualified for the job. The brilliance of the original Halloeween and Halloween 2 cannot be beat and he seems to be aware of it, so he experiments rather than trying to live up to the original.

I feel the exact same way about this man. His music, his movies, his art; I cannot get enough. I was introduced to him when I was about 13 and just getting into horror movies. White Zombie is some seriously sick shit, i dont know if i should dance or bang my head!
I love how he truly captures the grit and sleaze of 70s grade B flicks and brings them to the big screen for a new generation to enjoy. I really feel without mainstream artist such as Rob keeping this era alive so many great movies would become forgotten and unsought after. I really cannot say enough about him. I met him and sheri once out by the tour busses after a show. It wasn't a very long encounter but I was able to get a hand shake and tell him what I thought of his work, him and Sheri also signed my copy of 'The Devil's Rejects' and I talked her into doing the 'Baby Firefly Laugh'. Funny thing is he is he is rather short!. I have noticed since in pictures that he often rocks the platforms to take the edge of it. But yea this dude is the man for sure!
I also heard that he did set design on pee wees playhouse.

I'm more old school horror but out of all the modern horror films, The Devil's Rejects is king! It's top 5 worthy for me. Gotta love Captain Spaulding!
