Speaking to the dead in dreams

i have experience it in dreams you are open and your minds asleep so you can travel where you want to.

i dont understand the need to speak to the dead though, other than for resolution.

I was holding on to my grandfathers hand when he passed away and even before that i felt more close to him than i did with anyone else in my family. and i still was very attached to his energy the few weeks after he passed away. He would take me on a journeys and show me intense realizations in visions and in dreams.

I didn't think so until very recently. In fact, I didn't even believe in spirits, either.

my wife, who died less then a year ago, often comes around in a good way, even when i'm awake. and i'm not the only one who feels or experiences this. my dad who passed away almost 20 years ago (and before i met or married her), very rarely shows up in them, but occasionally has.

most of the people i meet in my dreams, when i meet anyone in them at all, are not people i've ever physically met in this life, though the sometimes resemble combinations of several.

my dreams, mostly what i dream about, doesn't directly involve human or other people at all. sometimes i meet people in them. sometimes i don't.

very rarely also, but sometimes, i meet my spirit guides. i met them in real life one day when i was very young and not actually doing anything to look for them. they just appeared physically to me, and my dad who was with me, but not right next to me, at the time, saw this also, though i doubt he realized at the time this is what that was.

when they appeared to me in a dream, they were just like this old indigenous couple that despite looking like ordinary humans, at the same time were actually them.

but invisible spirit people i am sometimes hugged by. as often when i'm awake as when i'm dreaming.
