i am always damn honest...tuition for me is 40k a year its a damn good school and if my education isn't up to par i put it out there. Unfortunately the only one that the school sees (as far as i think...cuz i dont know

) is the scantron that just asks how interested were you before the class, how about now? how organized was the class as a whole? the inidivdual classes? how much work was this course compared to other courses you have taken at the school? yadda yadda yadaa..so no open ended stuff there...so yes i am HONEST
now for some departments such as religion (my major) there is an open ended evaluation form as well. It goes directly to the teacher. I write my true thoughts because they need to hear them, and hopefully most of them do want to improve their teaching styles...though some are there to teach as a job second to doing research...which sucks.
my teachers this year asked for a lot of response because one of the classes was a trial class and on that evaluation i said a lot because much improvement was needed before that class was given again (including the details about the class in our course atlas).
i had one teacher last year that just sucked...he seemed knowledgable and he was friendly but seriously i didn't read after the second assignment because he read word for word what we were supposed to read the night before in class. at the end of the semester we had group presentations and i swear we all could have taught the courses better than he could...i think he is gone now THANK goodness. hopefully the school takes the scantron ratings somewhat seriously...
yes i am honest i want improvements or i want the teacher to know they kick ass at what they do
