Marijuana, Mind Control, and Government Conspiracy

What do you think about the idea that marijuana is actually just way for the government to brainwash you, and keep you in an altered state of mind in which you are completely unable to do anything to protect your freedoms? Perhaps you only think that you think more clearly when high, and maybe that's what the government wants you to think.

Everyone is always telling you that marijuana is bad for you, and while that is true, there is definitely more to it than that. If drugs like marijuana are illegal just because they are bad for you, wouldn’t alcohol, caffeine, junk food and cigarettes be illegal too? It is my theory that the government wants you to get high for their own gain and is using reverse psychology to get you to do it.

Some people may be under the delusion that they are thinking more clearly when high, but that is just not true. Any idiot can come up with a crazy theory about the government, high or not, but it takes someone in a clear state of mind to actually do anything about it. The whole “war on drugs” thing is just a sham to get the rebellious types to do drugs and keep them from thinking clearly so they are no longer a threat. The government knows that if they make something illegal, people will only want it more, in an attempt to rebel against the establishment. In reality, these people are merely pawns in the government’s plan for total control. If everyone who is against fascist government policies is always stoned, there is no one left to stop the government from taking away our freedoms. Even if they take action while they aren’t high, no one is going to take a pothead seriously. The government can continue to oppress the people as we move closer to complete fascist control.

I'll agree with that, but not bullshit said before it about needing to be sober. Once again it sounds like you know very little about drugs, and have not had any experience with them yourself. You are speaking based on what you have heard/read from secondary sources (probably in a health class in school - [government funded])

And I assure you most people don't light up a joint thinking "yeah that'll show those fuckers in the white house!". No, they are smoking to get high because it feels good, not to rebel. It's actually humorous that you'd think that.

If you hate freedom, go ahead and continue smoking pot and doing whatever other drugs you think are cool. If you really want the government to change, you have to stay in a clear state of mind and actually take action.

Well if there really was freedom, shouldn't we be able to smoke, snort, inject, eat, etc, whatever we feel like? What is staying in a clear state of mind going to do for me? What kind of action are you taking in your "clear state of mind"? Writing this article? Well this certainly hasn't motivated me to quit drugs, you haven't presented any real reasons to do so. What have you and your clear state of mind done to make positive changes in the government.?You realize the only thing most drug users want the government to change are the drug laws? What is it that you are seeking changed, because you didn't seem to clarify this in your writing. The whole article sounds like the ignorant ramblings of another confused citizen who can't find their place in society, and is too afraid to experiment with substance because of what others think/what they have heard.

alcohol, cigarettes and junk are NOT legal because they're "good for you" or "better" than illegal drugs (alcohol is one of the most fucked up drugs that exists imo). they have a long history and a lot of support from people making too much effort to keep them legal for their own profit and business.

it's all about money. fuck morality, that has nothing to do with it. everything's always about money and who is in an influential position/what THEY want because of who's giving THEM support.

not to mention the obvious racism that put many drug laws into effect in the first place.
