Farenheit 9/11's impact
Like this post? Yes | No

How many people do you know that have seen Farenheit 9/11 have changed their mind about Bush because of it? I know 8 people who have seen it and are now not voting for Bush. I know 3 that are on the fence because of it. I gave away about 6 copies so far. Once people see the truth, they can't support that evil murderer.
One person I know said she was definitely not voting this year, she said she never has, but I loaned her the film and she said she was blown away and she supports Kerry now. Yay!
I've been seeing more Kerry/Edwards yard signs these days too.

Michael Moore is basically just a mouthpiece for the mainstream left. I wouldn't be surprised if he's being paid by the Kerry campaign.

I find Moore to be downright laughable, though many people seem to love him -- mostly semi-intelligent, semi-informed, super-trendy American college kids that get the bulk of their "information" from CNN.

There are so many great 9/11 documentaries out there, but Moore's whitewash of a movie isn't one of them. Kudos to Moore's production work, though.

HOWEVER, if anyone wants to see a REAL documentary about 9/11, I highly recommend Alex Jones' 911: The Road to Tyranny, or Mike Ruppert's The Truth & Lies of 9/11.

I am not trying to be RUDE, but most informed people already knew everything Moore presented in his movie.

You are seriously over-suspicious about everything. Moore's film showed nothing but truth, if that works in Kerry's favor, so be it.

Well, most people I know don't have all day to search the internet for the latest conspiracy theory.

It's great in that it reaches the average American. It is entertaining and that appeals to Americans.

I just got Ruppert's Crossing the Rubicon, I'll probably read it this weekend. I haven't seen those films though.

Why would that be rude? Look, by and large, people aren't informed. that's the thing, F9/11 is the first glimpse at the truth they're getting. People know frustratingly little about this stuff. I had read House of Bush, House of Saud before I saw the movie, but I don't know anyone else who has, except my boyfriend. My friends aren't interested in reading it. I understand though, we are busy with school and work. Most people just don't have time. Think of people with families and full-time jobs, there just isn't a lot of time to inform yourself and have a life too.

Moore's mockumentary was full of half-truths and some pretty cleverly put together figures. If you are TRULY interested in the truth you have to explore both sides of an issue. After watching F911 I looked to see what Moore may have lied and/or exaggerated about in his movie. It was pretty interesting. I know I will probably get flamed for putting down F911 and Moore, but I don't believe that a TRUE documentary would be so biased. I also want people to know that I am not voting for Bush, but I do think the movie treated him unfairly.

Please, tell me one aspect of american poitics today that isn't filled with half-truths.

People today just need to try their best to filter out the propaganda in politics. But you can't really single out Moore, O'Riley, or anyone for that matter. Except I think we should be holding our president to the highest standards, and I especially hate to hear all the propaganda and spin that comes from him. (or any president we have)

I already knew *most* things that were presented in the movie, but I also learned a little bit.

I had a friend who was republican, but I begged her to watch it. She watched it with me, and she is now voting for Kerry.

Sure, the movie is a little biased, but what isn't these days. Especially when it comes to politics? But ya know, it was true. Bush needed to be exposed.

If there was an "anti-Kerry" movie out, I would watch it.
