I don't know, I enjoy the taste and had fun every time I indulged in this one.

really? i personally don't like sauze much at all, and have never heard of it having a reputation for being good tequila, just simple, drinkable, and affordable

Margaritaville? It's not even 100% agave. That means, by Mexican law, it can be up to 49% something else, and they don't even have to tell you what it is. Probably, it's low-grade grain alcohol and Mexican creek water. That shit will give you a quick headache and a nasty hangover if you drink much of it.
|
i dont drink it, i've just tried it once. nasty shit.

They try to cover a wide range of price and quality levels.

I know what you mean. A lot of their upper-end tequilas are novelty / niche products. Conmemorativo is the only one I keep in my cabinet all the time. It isn't mainstream, but I like it.

well, i had 1800 for the first time in ages last night. best part: i didnt pay for it, and had like a quarter bottle. a friend had me buy it for her with her money (she's 19, and its her favorite despite it costing almost 30 dollars at the grocery) and she just offered me shots in a coke glass. after she'd had a few, the shots got bigger and bigger

Variety is good, especially when it's free! Except, of course, a low-end tequila.
