longer or shorter than vicodin?

All I know is when I take oxy it lasts like 6 hours, with under an hour before it hits.

Well you didn't search very well grasshoppa.

The half life is roughly 3 to 4.5 hrs.ody chemistry, stomach contents will all effect that though.With no tolerance you may go about 4-6 hrs of actual "high" with a few hours comedown.Some people metabolize way faster or slower.

For you just popping the pills would be best, don't worry about alternate methods until you feel comfortable first.Harm reduction is key!!!

Anyways....Oxycodone is a tad bit stronger then Hydrocodone (Vicodin, Lortab, etc.)

When taken orally, it lasts longer, but the bioavailability is higher too...so you get a bit more of the pill. You might not get the INSTANT rush, but you will get a nice little buzz, and it will last longer. I prefer Oral Oxycodone over Intranasal Oxycodone.

If you are looking for a timeframe..it depends on how long it lasts when you snort it. If it lasts 2 hours when snorted, it will last probably 3-4 hours orally.

haha yeah i'm not gonna plug it, i just like to know stuff like that and figure it wouldn't hurt to see if anyone knows offhand.

hopefully i'll get them soon, i'll probably take 15mg and see how that goes.

i really liked 15mg of hydrocodone orally, it lasted a decently long time for me (3 1/2+ hours), what i look for isn't so much an initial rush as a longer high.
