i lived in little compton and bristol for a few years. def loved bristol but LC was a little too rich for me lol

Just might be the only place on earth you can watch Bob Dylan sing "Tangled up in Blue" while paddling a kayak. This year's eclectic lineup includes Levon Helm, Steve Martin (yes, that Steve Martin), the Avett Brothers and Yim Yames of My Morning Jacket. Buy a ticket and view the show from the sprawling lawn of Fort Adams State Park, or anchor in Newport Harbor for the best gratis seat in town. Just make sure you're on the right side of the wind (voices carry), and bring plenty of balloons for vessel-versus-vessel water fights. (July 30-August 1st, www.folkfestival50.com
