Unfortunately, this forum does have the potential to attract very sick and perverted people - and not just to do with nudism.
Nudisteve, I don't know who you are, but frankly if what the others are saying about you is true then go and get some serious professional help. You don't sound so much like a nudist as you are a nude fetishist (i.e. you see sexuality and sex in the most inappropriate environments and circumstances). So do something about it, or you could end up in a lot of trouble later on.
Now, with children and nudity: I am one of the few nudist individuals out there who believe that it is necessary for children to be exposed and raised into nudism, especially in my country.
Kids are the future of humanity, and I don't want to see future generations growing up with the same hangups and neuroses that I had about sex and my body when I was in my teens and as a result caused me to become a very lonely and insular person. I think if my parents had raised me as a nudist and encouraged my interaction with other nudist kids and teens, I'd probably be happily married with a family of my own now.
The majority of children raised in nudist families tend to be good academics, able to 'think outside the squares', and have less likelihood of being interested in porn or the fashion media where having expensive clothes and the "perfect" body is concerned.
There ought to be a good educational programme for schoolkids to learn about our lifestyle - the TNS (The Naturist Society) has an educational wing called the Naturist Educational Foundation in which it helps to bring more awareness of nudism to the masses. You can see their site at: http://www.naturisteducation.org
Finally, where 'child porn' is concerned, mere photos of kids playing naked in a campground or on the beach is *NOT* child porn. They have to be engaged in sexual behaviour or posed in a compromising way for it to be labelled thus.
Sites like russianbare.com , enature.net, nudism2000.com and purenudism.com all show children engaged in nude recreation in a wholesome, non-sexual manner and they are quite legal to view and also legal to buy DVDs of them.
I feel that Australian and American society in the main is very immature about nudism and needs to grow up and learn that nude is not lewd.
The European people tend to have a more sophisticated and astute attitude towards nudity, and sex crimes against children and women there are significantly lower than in America as a whole.
