Ermm, so, I'm running for youth parliament
Always being one of those people who wants to take a stand and never gets round to it, I've taken the bull by the horns and I'm going to stand for election for the youth parliament. This is a strange turn-around for me really, I'm one of the CND/Greenpeace/FoE people who'd stand on top of a nuclear power station to get rid of it! Or likewise, stand outside the houses of parliament yelling insults. And yet, here I am, a month to write my speech, 2 months until the elsction. If I get voted in I'll be able to have a say on youth issues nationally and within the area, and hopefully, my pet subject, the environment! Despite being voted "most likely to bcome a politician" at the prom I was going to boycott, I've always wanted to go into conservation, not politics! I think i'm doing the right thing, I think it would be best to not go on too much about hippie-esque predentials in my speech!
