Lorazepam.

Has anyone ever done this benzo before? I can get the 2mg ones for a pretty good price but I dont want to spend money on something useless. What would a good dose be and what would it compare to alprazolam or diazepam? Would it be better or worse?

Lorazepam is available in 0.5, 1 and 2mg tablets. 2mg in a single dose is a relatively large dose. The max I have seen prescribed is 2mg every 6 hours. It is longer acting than Xanax, but a little slower to kick in. It also causes a little more memory impairment than most other benzo's. Dentist use it frequently to both relax patients and to lessen recall of dental work in patients with dental phobia.

I have had it prescribed to me before. 0.5mg to 1mg was plenty for me, but I don't like to be wiped out...

The brand name is Ativan, if you have heard of that before.

Diazepam is by far my favorite benzo, and it's probably less addicting than most. (still addictive, though)

Each benzo reacts a little different to each patient, but 2mg of lorazepam would probably be somewhat equivalent to 10mg of diazepam, or 2mg of alprazolam.

i was on lorazepam for 3 months for stress and anxiety related TMJ disorder, ti worked great, and for recreational purposes was also fun, i had the 1mg pills, if you snort them( even thoug people say its a waiste cause benzo's aren't water soluable, it was quite the sensation within 10 seconds your nose feels like ice, its actually probably it burning your nose but it feels realy good like ice is goin up your nose, then within a few minutes you are trashed, i would usually snort one and take one and be great, they do wipe you out though, but i would say get a couple see if you can get em cheeper as a first timer deal and see if you like em.

So has anyone else had any experience with Ativan? I am wondering if they are worth even taking recreationally, and if so.. should they just be taken or snorted?

Alright, thanks for the replies. Some buddies and I are gunna be pickin up a bunch of those and some booze tomorrow, so it should be a pretty fun day. 4-6mgs of the lorazepam, and 2-3 shots of a 80 proof spirit each, and we're all about 130-140lbs, so I'm thinkin' its not going to be too dangerous.
