I always think of this poem:
Don't Dress Your Cat
Don't Dress Your Cat,in an apron,just cause she's learning,to bake,
Don't Dress Your Dog,in Overalls,Just cause he likes,to rake.
Don't Dress your Bird,in a tutu,just cause she likes dancing,you see.
Don't Dress Your Whale in a MuMu,if she's just out,on a spree.
A Person should dress, how they LIKE to,
and NOT,just,what other folks say,
A Person,should do,what they LIKE to,
A Person's a Person,that way!!
THAT'S how I see it! Peace!
"Love shines when sleeping,laughs,when waking"
My Personnal Motto

i buy (or get) clothes that I like, that I would wear, and if other people don't like them (it) i'm sorry but i really dont care. sometimes i could wear the ugliest thing in the world according to some people but then to other people they think it belongs on the runway. it all depends on your taste! and i wear what I like who cares what other people think!!!:H

i listen to what people have to say, but i don't use what they have to say. i wear what i like and could honestly care less what people think of it.

I'll dress up if only I am going out of the house for a few hours (nice blouse or spring/summer dress, heels, makeup, and such).
But if I'm just going to the video store or any kind of store, I'll just put t-shirt and shorts on (very little makeup or none). It's only for a few minutes anyway.

If someone doesn't like what I wear, then that is their problem.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
