stating the *very* obvious

This is gonna sound soooooo stupid, but I've never realized how effective opioids are as painkillers!
first a little bit of background...
In 8th and 9th grade I would get very, very painful headaches virtually everyday; doctors never really figured it out, either. And nothing helped. Tried every otc pain pill out there, tried several migrane perscriptions, but nothing. Praise Jebus, near the end of my freshman year my headaches ceased abruptly and completely. I have no idea why, but I suppose that dosn't really matter.
Anyway...
I've been using narcotic painkillers recreationally for a about a year. I've never used them for pain beause I've never needed to. But tonight I got the worst headache I've ever had in my life. I took 2 Darvocet (this is just the theraputic dose) and in less than half an hour it was GONE. I was amazed.
This is a pointless post I know, but I'm just so happy to, after years, find something that actually works

That's the reason the Good Lord gave us the poppy. And why they are, um, called "pain killers."

They actually are useful for their intended purpose, how bout that?
