Anyone every try proper opium

I'm gonna be heading off travelling next year and will probably take in south east asia and was thinking about trying some Opium. Anyone know how easy it is to come by and has anyone ever tried it before??

I know that in north america it's rather rare to be found on the street... But it's easy as hell to grow poppies and make your own. Beautifull flowers and they grow like weeds!

I've grown poppies they take a lot of work, but its nice having your own free REAL opium.

It's not THAT hard to come by in the states man, I can find it if I look around enough.
It's quite a pleasent experience. I'd love to do it agian, but I've sworn it off.

i sincerely doubt that any opium sold on the streets is legit. incense that smell flowery and are brown/black and stringy are commonly pawned off as opium. opium is so rare in the US because it is much more profitable to turn the opium into heroin and sell it for considerably more profit. i've never seen opium in the US, except for in someone's garden.

Well first off I'd like to say... be very very careful buying drugs in SE asia... particularly in Indonesia... they have insanely strict and violent drug laws.

Its not too hard to get in the states, and I'm sure its even easier in SE asia. I've done it once, and it was really really good... I only two bowls shared between 4 people, but it was really fun.

ive experienced the white rock(crystal) and the resiny(sp?) opium both very good, must say the crystal form is much better though.

Near the end of last semester, opium hit the town my college was in like a wave. Everybody had it. The sticky black resiny stuff. It was nice, tasted sooo good. Like flowers. A great high, especially if you mix some weed in with it and smoke them both at once.

there is no such thing as white rock opium. sorry dude you may have seen that shit at bonnaroo or somewhere else, its white and it turns to black oil when you burn it right? its crap. i've grown poppies and know that opium is hard to come by and what it looks like.

Smoked it many times. It used to be common, but in recent times I've seen it once- purple gel picked up some at Bonnaroo. There's lots of that phony incense shit, though.

But it's probably a death sentence where you're going if you get caught, and bad, BAD people deal opium- so watch your back.
