Codeine/Paracetamol seperation

Anyone done this before?
I'll let you know on the result once it has finished evaporating.
Don't know about America but in the UK you can by over the counter Paracetamol and Codeine tablets- 8md c and 500mg p.
Back home in Australia you need a perscription.
Anyway with that high level of paracetamol these tablets can't really be used recreationally but from what I read somwhere seperation is quite easy.
[] Dissolve tablets in warm/hot (not boiling) water.
[] Allow to cool- put it in the fridge for a few hours.
codeine and paracetamol are both soluble in warm water.
only codeine is soluble in cold water.
[] Once cooled the paracetamol will undissolve.
[] Pass liquid through a coffee filter and discard the paracetimol.
I ended up with a pasty white goo left in the filter.
[] Evaporate the liquid and you should be left with codeine sulphate.
I'm using a baking dish- set the oven to 50 celcius and it's evaporating at a steady pace.

I'll reply once I've tested the results.

Works alright- the result is powdery crystals- and smokable- it bubles, burns and turns to liquid just like heroin- nowhere near as strong though.
I've read that in America you get tabs of Codeine, Caffeine and Asparin- the extration I just did wont take away caffeine- rendering the result un-smokable- extracting the caffeine doesn't seen to difficult though- erowid- codeine vault.

Make sure you let me know if you find a way to extract the caffeine...

Seen the extraction method on erowid- search around the coeine vault- think you need naptha- or maybe hydrochloric acid- cant remember which one.
