Help in Colorado Springs Area

Hey all

I am needing a little help form the local area if anyone is around Colorado Springs.

My wife and I, along with our 2 year old daughter, are going to be relocating to colorado springs the beginning of march. We are looking for a reasonable townhouse/apartment or house to rent. We have found a couple possibilities, but are unsure of the local area.
We are moving from SW Florida and are unable to get to the area before we have to move to check out the area or properties. I am needing some guidance on a couple areas and the neighborhoods.
There seems to be many places around the Citadel Mall area, Is this a decent place for a family with kids?
Are there arny other areas that are reasonably inexpensive that are good for a small family?

Any help anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry i've been to busy to check here. We actually have had a change of plans and are now going to be in the SW Denver area. Been busy packing and gettin stuff situated. We get the uhaul this next weekend and should be out there by the first of the month. Can't wait myself for the summer and all the hiking and camping we will do. Our 2 year old daughter loves the outdoors and animals, so should be fun.

which town? I'm in Littleton.
This area I know about (I'm a reporter for one of the other burbs)
have your coats reachable. It'll still be rotten cold.
Layers are the way to go, as well.

Yeah
right around 285 between sheridan and wadsworth.
Can you give me an idea what that area is like.
We tentatively have a place, but we can back out when we get there if we don't like it. I just wished we would have been able to survey the area before the move.

yeah it's a good place. and if you have kids, make sure you het a place in district 20.
best place for your kids education. and it's in a good part of town. as for
