Jan Rose Kasmir is a massage therapist, medically-trained, living in Hilton Head, and raising her teenage daughter, Lisa Ann. My pictures above are from Washington, 1967, and London, 2003. I am still a dedicated peace pilgrim after 40 years. I work hard to instill peace values in my daughter, and have volunteered my massage services for 20 years with Massage For Peace events, such as working with Seniors, wheelchair tennis players and more.
G!d has blessed me with a healing heart and skilled hands. Please, it is an an honor to serve my brothers and sisters as a therapist and a friend.
As I have matured, I have come to realize that the one candle I must light instead of cursing the darkness IS MINE! The light that shines from my heart is my love light, and it shines through my daughter, Lisa Ann, through my life's work, massage, and through my daily encounters with people.

While it is true that my appearance at the London March against the War in Iraq is the last time I will ever demonstrate, that does not mean I have stopped my efforts to try to do what I can to serve the cause of peace.
I live my life to serve a higher consciousness. My work as a massage therapist is my current, best way that I can help people to heal, thereby making this world a little better. I donate time to wheelchair athletes, Seniors and more. In time, I plan to return to school to become a Rabbi, so that I may better serve.
