nipple discharge?

I'm 17 years old, I'm on the pill but I still get paranoid about being pregnant constantly. I've just had my 7-day-break and I had a withdrawal bleed, but then today I noticed there's some clear liquid coming out of both of my nipples, so I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative.

Any ideas what it could be? I've rang the doctors and spoke to them about it, but they didn't have much to say.

Thanks

it could just be the estrogen from the birth control

If it's a real concern for you, go to the breast doctor.
I've never heard of anything like that. But, a friend of mine had nipple discharge and she turned out to have a non-cancerous cyst (I don't know if the two were related, but while visiting the doctor for her nipple leakage, the cyst was found.)
Something may or may not be wrong, you should be safe than sorry.

So, whether you're male or female, pay attention to your body and examine yourself regularly. Please go see a doctor if you:

detect a lump in your chest or breast
have unusual discharge or seepage from your nipple
have an ulcer or persistent rash on your nipple or skin
have swelling in your armpit
have unexplained pain in your pectoral or breast

what sucks is that because of your age doctors can be quick to dismiss your concern. I've had it happen to me several times and it drives me nutts. If i were in your shoes i would visit my family doctor (or a clinic if you dont have one) and request a referal to a specialist if she doesn't have a specific answer.

Interestingly enough I just started having this happen, I went to a breast clinic & had a Mammogram. My Dr. had some bloood tests done.

It was concluded that it is related in my case to the HRT that I recently strarted. It could well be related to your birth control. In which case it's nothing to be concerned with aside from the inconvienence of it.

Of course it's not too bad of an idea to have something looked at by a medical professional, then you know for sure.

My nipples also were very sore & always hard. Do you also have this?
