Codeine

My dad has prescription 30 mg tablets and a friend and i read up on the shit and it said OD was 800 mg so we each took like 210 mg. of it. has anyone else ever done this and how exactly can u tell ur feeling it?

You can OD to death on a HELL of a lot LESS than 800 mgs of codiene. I don't know where you read that, but it is wrong. Also, the amount of Tylenol in that many codiene tablets is probably destroying your liver as we speak. A Tylenol #3, (which you are stealing from your father) has 325 mgs of Tylenol. MAXIMUM dosage of Tylenol is about 2,000 mgs a day. You have consumed 2,275 mgs of Tylenol. Dumb move. Not to mention the 210 mgs of codeine could have serious repercussions on your respiratory system.

And what about your dad and his pain? Did that ever occur to you that he might need his meds? What is going to happen when the poor man is in pain, goes to get his meds and finds them gone or almost gone. Very selfish.

i dont no where you found that you OD at 800 hundred thats crazy man. and you say you took 215 mgs the first time. your lucky you didnt find out you were allergic. i know alot of people that are allergic to it. obviously you were reading bogus information because a starting doe of 215 is crazy for someone whos never done it before. or your full of bullshit because theres no way with not being tolerant that you didnt feel any thing at 215 mgs. you would no and most likely being non tolerant you would be freaking out. not to mention the ap/ap in taking that much.

#1 my dad has given me the shit b4...sometimes a decent amt of pills cuz i was in some pain...he has a fucking shit load of pills he wont be running out any time soon. it was in NO WAY my first time...i didnt even feel it that much and niether did my friend...he has this midrin shit that is as strong or stronger...also if i remember correctly my friend and i read that thing about 800 mgs on erowid.

So let me get this straight from the way you talk you have done codeine alot. well if youve done it so many times you would obviously know what it feels like. and unless both you and your freind are extremly tolarant to Rxs or opiates of that nature i dont see how you took 210 mgs and arent sure if you feel it. and on the OD part, i dont know what you read on erowid but you can OD on alot less than that. Maybe death occurs at 800mgs but i have known people who have OD on alot less than that. SO either your full of shit or your highly tolerant and i feel sorry for you.

if he was really that familiar with opiates he wouldnt have taken all that tylenol - everyone knows that is seriously bad for you - certainly have a lot more to worry about od'ing on that than the codeine.

Midrin is a NON narcotic migraine medication. It is NOT "way stronger" than codeine! Midrin contains Tylenol, and an agent which constricts blood vessels and a mild antihistamine. Lame stuff indeed.

How did you take 215mg of codeine with 30mg tablets? Was it Tylenol #3, which is 30mg codeine w/ 325mg of acetaminophen, or was it plain codeine (cii)?
